Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site, we receive your email address and name. Some forms — the profit leak calculator and the readiness scorecard — also collect your answers to the questions in the tool.
We also receive standard server logs automatically: IP address, browser type, and timestamps. We don't control this; it's how the web works.
Why we collect it
Three reasons only.
- To send you the result you asked for — a calculator breakdown, a scorecard, a download.
- To deliver 64°N Weekly if you opted in to the newsletter.
- To understand how the site performs so we can fix what's broken.
We don't sell it. We don't rent it. We don't share it except with the services listed below, which are necessary to run the site.
Who else sees it
These third-party services handle parts of the infrastructure. Each has its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the underlying purpose ends. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, we stop sending. If you request deletion, we remove what we hold and ask the relevant services to do the same.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we have on you, correct anything that's wrong, or request deletion. Email grumpyschnitzel@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time. No runaround.
Cookies
We use analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. LinkedIn's Insight Tag also sets a cookie for campaign attribution. These are standard tracking cookies — they don't carry personal details, but they do track browsing behaviour across sessions.
You can block all of them via your browser settings or a script blocker. The site works without them.
Minors
This site is for restaurant operators. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data through this site, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this page, we'll bump the date at the top. Anything material — a new third-party service, a change in how we use data — goes to the newsletter first.
