Terms of Use
Use of this site
This site is informational and educational. Reading a blog post or running a calculator doesn't make me your consultant. We've worked together when we sign an agreement and you pay an invoice.
Free tools and content
The calculators, scorecards, and articles on this site are free to use. They reflect 20 years of kitchen and operator experience, but every restaurant is different. Results aren't guaranteed. Use what fits, ignore what doesn't.
Paid products
When you buy the 72-Hour Profit Sprint or any other product, the terms of that purchase — refund policy, delivery, support — live on the product page itself. The Sprint comes with a Find-a-Leak Guarantee. Details are on the kit page.

- No impersonation. Don't represent yourself as Christian Schiffner or The Grumpy Chef.
Limit of liability
This site and its content are provided as-is. We're not liable for losses you suffer from acting on a free article, calculator, or video. Paid products carry the limits stated in their refund policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Yukon, Canada. Disputes that can't be resolved by email go to the courts of Yukon.
Changes
If we update these terms, the date at the top will move. Material changes go to the newsletter first.
